We store what you give us: your streaks, your chat logs, and the images you upload. You can download a copy of everything we have on you, or nuke it all instantly in Settings.
We do not collect your email, password, or real name. We do not track your IP address for ad targeting. We are a privacy-first accountability tool.
Your quiz answers describe personal habits, so we treat them as sensitive. They're only used to show you your own stats, and to calculate anonymous averages (like the average hours per week across everyone) that new users see in the quiz. Averages never include names or individual answers.
When you tap "get me through this" on the SOS page, we send our AI provider (DeepSeek) your current and best streak, your "why", your triggers, your hardest time of week, your local time, and anything you typed in the box. We never send your name, Discord account, or avatar. The coach only runs when you tap the button.
If you use goonr on more than 14 of the last 30 days, we look through your resets and SOS sessions for a time of week that's usually hard for you. It's shown only to you on your insights page, and if you have reminders on we may send one heads-up before it (at most once a week). You can turn heads-ups off on the insights page.
Members of groups you join can see your display name, avatar, current streak, resets and group messages. In matched squads (strangers we match you with), they only see a random nickname and a generic avatar instead of your name and picture. A group's name, avatar and member count appear in the preview when its invite link is shared. Invite pages are hidden from search engines.
You need to be old enough to have a Discord account in your country to use goonr. If you're under 18, only use goonr with a parent or guardian's permission, and you can delete everything at any time from Settings.
Want to see exactly what we have? Go to Settings > Export Data. We will generate a JSON file containing your entire user profile, streak history, quiz answers, and group messages.
Go to Settings > Delete Account to instantly wipe your profile, uploaded images, streaks, and logs from our database. This is permanent.
